why bright foglights?

My user name is tog_mom We are a homeschooling family that uses Tapestry Of Grace as our base curriculum. Hence the title tog. As I was diving into the curriculum the phrase 4 week fog came up quite often as people were getting used to using this wonderful new curriculum. It is very different than anything I have ever used before hand in 9 years of homeschooling our children.
At one point, I found myself thinking, I might be in the fog but my fog lights are on and bright and I will make it to the end of the fog successfully. So now you know as if world peace was hinging on the answers to why that title :-D

A real quick intro
I am married to the reformed confederate *I will post his blog site later*. I have three wonderful children daughter 14, son 12, son 1 and baby boy due any day now. We live just south in the heart of Texas. My husband is career Air Force about to retire in 2+ years. We are a busy family to include a TOG co-op and a family homeschool based scout troop.
If there is anything else I feel you need to know or would add years to your life knowing I will post it. For now, I shall end and post this to begin my life as a blogger.
